Frequently asked questions

Is HIPPION an official FFE service?

No. HIPPION is an independent service, with no official link to the Fédération Française d’Équitation or the Fédération Équestre Internationale. It issues no qualification and produces no official ranking.

Where does my data come from?

From your competition results, linked to your licence after authentication. You only see data that concerns you, and nothing is shown to a visitor who is not signed in.

Can HIPPION tell me whether I am qualified?

HIPPION compares your points and classes against a championship’s conditions and tells you whether they appear to be met. It is a reading aid, not a validation: only the federation qualifies.

Which disciplines are covered?

All those in the federal reference model. Disciplines that do not yet have specific indicators use the generic statistics, with no exclusion.

What is the artificial intelligence for?

To explain, in plain language, statistics that have already been computed. It never calculates a point, a ranking, a penalty or a qualification: those values are deterministic.

What happens when data is missing?

HIPPION says so. Missing data is shown as “Not reported”, with its reason, never as a zero that would suggest a nil result.
